Implementing design thinking an Ericsson case study
Design thinking as a managerial practice has been around for a while. The concept is based on using and implementing designerly ways of working in various disciplines. It might sound rather straightforward, but in reality changing the way of working, in non-design fields, proves to be a fairly complicated and long process where concentration on the holistic picture as well as to the smallest details plays a great role.
This thesis work analyses the implementation of design thinking in Ericsson, the iconic Swedish telecommunication company. It discusses the pains and gains of this process, points out impediments and presents possible solutions to tackle them.
